Why in-vehicle interactive experience differs from that of smart phones? It has something to do with driving safety and information accuracy. In the past few years, PATEO has paid many efforts to GUI and VUI so as to create in-vehicle interactive experience similar to or better than that of smart phones. Large display screen and high voice recognition rate have become common requirements of automotive companies. When it comes to BUI (such as fingerprints, iris, voiceprints, gestures, facial expressions, physical signs, eyeball movements, brain wave, etc.), if such mature recognition technologies can be introduced into cars, in-vehicle interactive experience can be greatly enriched and enhanced. PATEO's R&D Center in Silicon Valley has been cooperating with top technology companies to commercialize BUI in the automotive field, with some technologies under preliminary evaluation and test, such as eye recognition technology. Besides, PATEO is working with SMI to develop eye interaction technology for AR devices.
