On the afternoon of Sep. 16, the signing ceremony for the PATEO R&D Headquarters for Smart Mobility Innovation to settle in Jiangbei New Area was held in the Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Park of the New Area. Ran Hua, Vice Mayor of Nanjing; Chen Chanmei, Deputy Director of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Management Committee; and Ken (Yilun) Ying, Chairman & founder of Shanghai PATEO were among the participants.

This time, PATEO has planned to invest in the construction of the “PATEO Technology and Product R&D Headquarters for Smart Mobility Innovation” in the Industrial Technology Research and Innovation Park, with focus on the innovative R&D and industrialization of chips, software, systems and terminal devices related to intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs), so as to accelerate the commercial application of smart technology enabled chips and automotive electronics technologies in the transportation and mobility market, deeply mine transportation & mobility data, and promote the commercialization of the new smart mobility business. The total planned investment volume of the project reaches up to CNY 1.6 billion.

With the early arrival of the 5G era, the state-of-the-art AI technology led smart city and intelligent transportation industries will gradually enter our lives.
