Entering the two-wheeler market for the first time, PATEO has directly secured a leading high-end customer and been selected to support its new high-end model. Based on PATEO’s proprietary solid-state sound field intelligent interaction technology, the “Vehicle-Bodied Sound-Emitting Interaction System” uses an ultra-thin, automotive-grade piezoelectric transducer at its core to drive the vehicle’s outer panels to produce sound directly, while also featuring dual-mode vibration sensing capabilities. Compared with traditional speakers, it can significantly reduce size and power consumption, while being waterproof, dustproof and resistant to high and low temperatures, making it well suited to the outdoor and compact installation requirements of two-wheeled vehicles.

PATEO is not entering the two-wheeler market from scratch. Instead, it is adapting its mass-production-validated intelligent in-vehicle interaction capabilities to a new application scenario and transferring them to a new vehicle platform. Compared with developing an independent product line from the ground up, this technology reuse approach significantly broadens the potential commercial applications of PATEO’s existing R&D achievements.

The designation expands the company’s customer base and the application scope of its products. As the project progresses and the technology continues to evolve, the company is expected to further explore intelligent mobility needs across two-wheelers and other types of vehicles, cultivating new sources of incremental growth for its long-term business development.
