Recently, PATEO (02889.HK) and Yunji Technology (02670.HK) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Drawing on their respective profound expertise in the intelligent vehicles and robotics fields, the two parties will build a deep strategic partnership to jointly explore innovative paradigms for the integration of smart manufacturing and the robotics industry.

According to the agreement, the two parties will conduct in-depth cooperation across multiple levels to jointly expand the vast application scenarios of embodied AI.

Joint Development and Application of Robotics Scenarios: The two parties will jointly discuss and promote the scenario applications of robots in automotive industry factories. Concurrently, they will also explore the applications of embodied AI robots in stages such as material handling and assembly assistance within automotive component production lines. Following the successful implementation of these scenarios, the mature solutions will be collectively promoted to other customers in automotive manufacturing and general manufacturing.

Cooperation on Intelligent Sound Generation System Products: In the research and development of its robotics products, Yunji Technology will prioritize the introduction of the intelligent sound generation system provided by PATEO to replace traditional speakers, achieving “sound generation from the skin” of robots and delivering a more natural human-computer interaction experience.

Cooperation on Supply Chain and Manufacturing: The two parties agree to conduct resource synergy and joint procurement on key materials such as chips, bolstering the security and stability of the supply chain. Concurrently, PATEO will leverage its capabilities in precision electronic production to provide Yunji Technology with contract manufacturing (OEM/EMS) services for key components, such as robot control modules, helping it optimize component costs, improve product consistency, and enhance quality reliability.

Cooperation on Frontier Technologies: The two parties will jointly conduct research on the “brain-cerebellum” coordinated intelligent architecture based on OpenHarmony, driving innovative breakthroughs and industrial implementations of OpenHarmony in the field of embodied AI.
