On April 10, the establishment ceremony of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Artificial Intelligence Operating Systems was held at the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
At the event, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and PATEO CONNECT Technology (Shanghai) Corporation signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement.

The cooperation between PATEO CONNECT and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Artificial Intelligence Operating Systems will be based on the distributed capabilities of OpenHarmony to research and develop a “brain-cerebellum”collaborative intelligent system architecture, develop cerebellum reinforcement learning algorithms, low-latency perception-and-decision-making models, and multi-device collaborative cognitive frameworks, and study Vision-Language-Action (VLA) large models. Meanwhile, both parties will jointly develop an OpenHarmony-based embodied AI prototype platform to support the rapid development and deployment of equipment such as robots and agents, create demonstration applications for fields such as robotics, automotive and peripheral ecosystem scenarios, and manufacturing, promote the commercialization of products, jointly build a product certification system, and promote the construction of industry standards for the OpenHarmony Embodied AI Operating System. The relevant technological achievements researched and developed by both parties will be contributed to the OpenHarmony open-source community on a priority basis to jointly maintain open-source collaboration rules.
