PATEO CONNECT and SenseTime Finalize Strategic Cooperation to Seize Leading Position in AI Automotive and Embodied Intelligence Race
On October 8, PATEO CONNECT, a leader in automotive intelligence, and SenseTime, an artificial intelligence giant, announced a comprehensive strategic cooperation. The two parties will focus on the deep integration of large AI models in intelligent cockpits, make simultaneous anchor investments, and jointly plan for cutting-edge fields such as humanoid robots and cockpit-driving integration.

PATEO, as an AI platform enterprise boasting hardware engineering and automotive-grade integration capabilities, is committed to providing full-link solutions from underlying software to cloud services. Based on domestic open-source model architectures and SenseTime’s SenseNova large models, it is customizing and training the “Qinggan Large Model” services for the cockpit domain, building a complete technology closed-loop, and pioneering the creation of a Platform-level AI Agent within the industry that integrates various Agent capabilities including digital entertainment, local services, communication collaboration, and mobility navigation, achieving an essential leap from a stack of functions to scenario-based intelligent services. Simultaneously, both parties will establish an efficient collaboration mechanism for “edge-side large models”: ensuring millisecond-level real-time response, with continuous iteration and evolution, to form a “chip-cloud integrated” intelligent connected vehicle platform, truly achieving the deep integration and efficient implementation of AI capabilities with automotive scenarios.

The development of humanoid robots is in full swing. Both parties will deeply integrate their core strengths and initiate cross-industry breakthroughs to jointly explore the frontier field of humanoid robotics. SenseTime will leverage its leading visual perception algorithms to build the “brain” and “visual system” for the humanoid robots, equipping them with powerful environmental adaptability and interactive capabilities. PATEO, in turn, will apply its accumulated experience in hardware design, underlying operating systems, automotive-grade chip module integration, and large-scale mass production in the field of intelligent cockpits to the robots’ “body” and “neural network”, ensuring their reliability, safety, and engineering implementation.
In terms of ecosystem co-construction, the two parties will focus on key areas such as cockpit-driver integration, vehicle-road collaboration, and overseas market expansion to build a full-stack solution for intelligent connected vehicles.
