On Feb. 5, the award ceremony for “The Fifth Leading Figures of Industry & Commerce in Shanghai” was held in the hall of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shanghai Committee. Ken (Yilun) YING (aka Zhenkai YING), founder and Chairman of PATEO CONNECT+, stood out from the numerous candidates, and won this title of honor, making himself the only one on the list that is from an IoV enterprise.

On Dec. 29, PATEO CONNECT+ (PATEO) and Horizon Robotics (Horizon) jointly announced the establishment of a strategic partnership. The two sides will join hands to form a strong alliance, and give full play to their respective resource advantages, to conduct in-depth cooperation on intelligent connectivity business, with intelligent cockpit as the focus and orientated to the needs for intelligentization in the automotive market, and empower OEMs to realize differentiation advantages, in addition to establishing a joint lab, aiming to research and develop a cockpit platform compatible with the Journey AI SoC of Horizon Robotics, jointly create and quickly implement future-oriented domestic platform-level leading products. According to the plan, the products that the two sides cooperate on will be mass-produced and equipped on vehicle in 2021.

On Apr. 11, the final selection of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2022 (Germany) wrapped up, in which the HMI design of VOYAH Automobile of Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM), China won a big prize in the “Product” discipline.

On Sept. 26, 2022, Amazon Web Services (AWS), an inaugurator and pacesetter of global cloud computing, announced the initiation of strategic cooperation with PATEO CONNECT+ Technology (Shanghai) Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “PATEO”), based on which, both sides will combine their advantages to provide IoV cloud computing software products & services and overall solutions for automotive intelligent connectivity, thus accelerating the expansion of Chinese auto companies into overseas markets and the business implementation of international automakers in China. This partnership is expected to create a new cooperative operation model in the field of intelligent vehicles (IVs) and build a new standard for global intelligent connectivity.
